Prof. Rentsen is vice-rector for research, innovation and foreign relations at Dornod University.
Prof. Rentsen studied at the Mongolian State University of Education, Saint Petersburg State University, and Irkutsk University.
She followed training courses on Project management, Research methodology, Adult Educationand Education reform and leadership.
She was in charge of the translation of 5 handbooks for teachers /from English to Mongolian/, 2011 (on visual impairment, on physical impairment on hearing impairment, on cognitive impairment and guidelines on working with disabled children). The handbooks were developed by the VSO volunteer (Voluntary Service Overseas) who worked for the Educational Department of Dornod province.
