International Stakeholder Conference on ‘Participation in Education’, Moscow (Russia), 16-18 May 2019

From 16 till 18 May 2019 authors of the EduLAw project related to chapters on participation and inclusion in education presented their modules at the international conference on ‚Participation in Education’ (WP6.2) in Moscow (Russia). The topics discussed by speakers included i.a. participation of students, parents and teachers in creating education programs, participation of students, parents and teachers in education and play space design, participation of the university in city life (research work for cities, design of urban spaces, participation in creating city sociocultural environment) and the participation of city and citizens in establishing the education and scientific agenda of the university.
The international conference was organised by Moscow City University with the participation of researchers in teacher training and educational sciences from Europe, Russia and Asia. Also students of MCU and MSAL and local and regional education authorities attended the conference. The EduLAw presenters were i.a. participants from Moscow City University (P9), Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after MV Lomonosov (P12), Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës (P6), Francisk Skorina Gomel State University (P7), Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University (P8), Vytauto Didžiojo Universitetas (P2), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (P1 grant holder coordinator) and the European Association for Education Law and Policy (P4).
Furthermore dissemination was realised through the distribution of promotional material (EduLAw flyers and brochures) to the participants (WP6.3). The event was used for updating the quality control strategy with the institutional project leaders present (WP5.1).
At the MNG meeting the final national conferences within the estimated budget and distribution of tasks (WP7.1) were planned.
