On 10 September 2024, MPI (Medical Pedagogical Institute) welcomed the Mongolian delegation for an enriching visit. The day began with a theoretical presentation on MPI’s specialized educational approach, followed by a tour of the living groups and classrooms. In the afternoon, the delegation visited MPI’s sister school, Athena Campus Ter Bruyninge, to gain insights into secondary education for children with special needs. It was a day of valuable learning. MPI provides special preschool and primary education (ages 2.5 to 15), while Athena Campus Ter Bruyninge offers secondary education, supporting children who require extra assistance due to autism spectrum disorder (type 9), visual impairment (type 6), learning disabilities (type 8), mild intellectual disability (type 1), or moderate to severe intellectual disability (type 2).
