The Russian national conference was the EduLAw D&S multidisciplinary event for (future) teachers and lawyers and principals in Russia, origanized in the Mari-El Republic. Its focus was on “Digital Transformation in Education: Modern Challenges”. Participants from more than 20 Russian cities and delegations from Kazakhstan, Tadjikistan, Moldavia, and Belarus attended the Forum. One of the sections of the Forum was dedicated to ‘Education Law’. The participants of the section discussed the legal issues of implementing the right to education including challenges for indigenous minorities and children/students with special needs in education in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of Belarus, professional standards for teachers in the educational system, educational state policy, legal bases for responsibilities and division of competences in education. Staff from EduLAw partner universities, including M. Tank Belorusian State Pedagogical University, F. Skorina Gomel State University, Moscow City University and Northern (Arctic) Federal University, delivered keynotes.
