International Seminar on Curriculum Updates, Minsk (Belarus), 4-5 June 2018

From 4th till 5th June 2018 the ELA Project held its international seminar on curricula reforms in teacher education.
Institutional projectmanagers, modular teamleaders and responsables for teacher education programmes in the consortium reflected upon the different ways that the EduLAw modules will be included in the institutional teacher training (and educational sciences) programmes. The discussions included the content of the modules to fit the local requirements (WPDEV 3.1/WPDEV 3.2), the draft description of the updated curricula (WPDEV 2.2) and the updated course syllabus (summary of each of the modules covered/taught in the particular education law course) (WPDEV 2.2).The agenda for teaching the modules the next academic year (2018-2019) with speakers from the other partners in the consortium as intensive training courses/schools was outlined (WP 6.2/ WP 6.3).
The partners distributed tasks for the development of open education resources (WP 4.1) and of the E-test system (WP4.2) for the modules.
Furthermore, BSPU received the visibility poster (841 x 1189 mm) of the 20 EduLAw modules and project information (WPDEV 6.2).
The meeting of institutional project leaders also planed the activities for the next project phase (WPMNG 7.1) and the participants completed the internal quality control questionnaire (WP5.2).
Finally, the seminar gave visibility of the project through the open class on the legal framework on inclusive education by I. Turchanka and O. Klezovich for a group of master students at BSPU (WPDEV 6.2).
The meeting is organized at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University with the cooperation of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and participation of Moscow City University, Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after MV Lomonosov, Kutafin Moscow State Law University, Mari State University, University of Tirana, Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (grant holder coordinator) and the European Association for Education Law and Policy (WPD&S6).
