Martijn Roelen holds a Master in Instructional and Educational Science from the University of Antwerp. He is counsellor in the educational policy unit on quality control. He is a former member of the Flemish Youth Policy Council (VJR) and current member of an advisory board for the Flemish association for students in secondary education (VSK). His main fields of expertise is systems and effects of higher education, internal and external quality assurance and student rights and -representation.
